It’s no secret that the city’s stunning skyline lends itself to luxury rooftop bars and lounges, which have become increasingly popular in recent years. With one of the world’s most notable skylines, it’s no surprise that swanky rooftop bars and clubs have grown in popularity in Hong Kong.
Scattered across the city and offering incredible 360 degree views on both sides of Victoria Harbour, an evening tipple under the stars quickly became our favourite way to end the day during our recent trip to Hong Kong.
SEVVA
Seva’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer spectacular views of Hong Kong’s skyline, with the stunning HSBC Building standing out. It’s no surprise that this breathtaking view comes at a premium: a nightcap here will cost you around $ 175 USD (ouch!)
Take the MTR to Central Station, then walk along Charter Road until you reach Prince’s Building on the 25th floor.
CÉ LA VI
Cé La Vi, a sophisticated venue with an open-air cocktail bar that offers unrivaled views of Central and beyond, is located in the heart of downtown. Every day from 15:30 to 19:00, don’t miss out on the bar’s happy hour.
Take the MTR to Central Station and ask for directions.
Ozone
Ozone Bar is a must-see on any trip to Hong Kong. It’s one of the most beautiful rooftop bars in town, located on top of the Ritz-Carlton.
Ozone, located on the 118th floor of the International Commerce Centre in Wan Chai, is one of the world’s highest bars and isn’t just about the city views. The dazzling interior and futuristic design are a spectacle in themselves, as well as the stunning backdrop that makes it one of Hong Kong’s finest rooftop bars.
Take the subway to Kowloon station, then walk north for about 10 minutes to the Ritz-Carlton in the International Commerce Centre.
Aqua
Aqua Spirit is a stylish and contemporary rooftop bar that has earned a good reputation for being one of the finest in Hong Kong. A signature cocktail will set you back around $100 HKD.
Aqua Spirit, a one-of-a-kind Japanese-Italian fusion bar with windows that stretch from the floor to the ceiling, is located in Hong Kong. Take the MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui Station and exit L5.
Lily & Bloom
You’re probably thinking, “Lily & Bloom isn’t a rooftop bar, so why is it on the list?” We were drawn to this cozy cocktail bar and couldn’t resist telling you about their fantastic happy hour.
The first drink is 50HKD, the second 25HKD, and the third just 5HKD (yes 5!) It’s excellent value for money and an ideal place to begin your night.
Take the subway to Central Station, then head north until you reach Lan Kwai Fong Tower.
